Film

A film studies minor alongside the computer science. Five films, newest listed first, which runs backwards through everything I learned: working with crews, handling professional cameras and equipment like the Sony FX3A, Nanlites, shotgun microphones with boom poles, the Canon C100, and even a phone. On most of these I wrote, directed, shot and cut, which is less a statement of range than of crew size.

Valentine

12 min · December 2025

Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Actor

A cheating boyfriend, an innocent girlfriend, another girl, and the drama goes on. Until one fine day, when the other girl goes missing. Is the boyfriend alone now? No one is really alone…

Crew of 7, pre-production through post. Shot on a Sony FX3A.

The film I like the most. Shot using real professional equipment: a Sony FX3A, a boom pole, and Nanlites. A film which led me to engage in fruitful collaborations with fellow filmmakers as part of a crew, learning from each others' work while progressing with our respective films, this film being mine.

Out Of Time, Out Of Luck

3 min · September 2025

Co-director, Cinematographer, Co-editor

A boyfriend waits for his date to arrive...

Crew of 3

The first thing we shot on the Sony FX3A, made mostly to find out what the camera could do before Valentine.

Revive

10 min · April 2025

Writer, Co-director, Cinematographer, Editor

A woman is rendered hopeless after the sudden demise of her boyfriend. Soon, her life takes an unexpected turn, when someone with a dark past comes to live with her, in her new rented apartment.

Made with one collaborator, covering every core production role between them

My first film on real equipment, learning it as I shot: a Canon C100, a boom pole, and lights. Most of what I know about cinematography, lighting and sound started here.

Ringfinger

3 min · February 2025

Writer, Co-director, Cinematographer, Editor

A thief desperately tries to steal a ring, with a devastating consequence he is not prepared to face...

Crew of 2

An experimental short silent film, shot entirely on a phone. My first live action film with other people in it. No equipment beyond a phone, which turned out to matter less than knowing what to point it at.

3D Animated Short (with Star Wars characters)

20 min · 2024

Writer, Animator, Editor

Twenty minutes of animation built solo in Blender, start to finish in three weeks: story, scenes, characters, and the whole render.

Crew of 1 (Solo).

A finished film, but not a polished one. It is the first I made, and I made it to learn the tools: building a scene, getting characters to interact with it, hand-keying animation, lip sync, and real-time rendering. The lip sync is rough and so is plenty of the animation. Three weeks is not long enough to do any of it well, which is rather the point: it stays up because it is where I learned all of that, and a trial ground I worked through says more than a polished thing I did not make. Fan project.

Writing screenplays is where Muxwriter came from. The formatting tools know nothing about your story and the chat windows have never read it, so I built the thing that does both.
